Welcome

Nancie R. Spector, Ph.D. is a licensed child clinical psychologist with thirty years experience. She has had a private practice in Connecticut since 1985. She received her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude with Honors in Psychology, from Brown University. Dr. Spector was awarded master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology with a Child Clinical Specialization from Case Western Reserve University. While in graduate school, she completed her Predoctoral clinical training at a variety of settings including a child guidance center, a residential treatment center for children, inpatient child and adult psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals (Back Pain Treatment Team) and an outpatient treatment center for developmentally disabled children and adults. read more...

About Dr. Spector

Dr. Spector received her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude with Honors in Psychology, from Brown University and awarded master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology with a Child Clinical Specialization from Case Western Reserve University. She specializes in psychological assessment and psychotherapy (including DBT) for children and adolescents.
